Goodyear announces the new Regional RHT II 19.5” and 17.5” range of low platform trailer tyres for applications such as car transporters in both long and regional haul service and also for heavy haulage trailers. These new tyres have been developed to provide high operational mileage and excellent wet grip as well as achieving rolling resistance. They also meet the requirements of the future EU Regulation 661/2009.

Tokyo-The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., announced today that its net sales from April to September 2011, the first six months of the present fiscal term, increased 8.4%, 19.9 billion, over the same period of the previous fiscal year, to 258.2 billion yen. That growth resulted primarily from a surge in tire business, led by strong sales in Japan’s replacement market.
